Trope Theory uses only essential, first-party cookies. We do not use tracking cookies, third-party cookies, or advertising cookies. No cookie consent banner is needed.
What are cookies?
Cookies are small text files stored on your device by your web browser. They help websites remember information about your visit. For example, keeping you logged in as you navigate between pages.

There is only one cookie, and it is only set when you actively log in as a member. If you're just browsing the site without logging in, no cookies are set at all.
What about analytics?
Ghost's built-in web analytics are entirely cookie-free. They use anonymised, first-party data collection that does not require cookies or a consent banner. No personal data is collected through analytics.
Third-party cookies
We do not use any third-party services that set cookies on our site. There are no advertising trackers, social media pixels, or external analytics tools.
Managing cookies
You can control cookies through your browser settings. Since we only use one essential cookie for login functionality, blocking it would simply mean you cannot stay logged in as a member.
